Being born into a very musical family, Vince McCartney was surrounded with the top musicians in the Bahamas.  His father owned one of the most popular clubs in his home town of Tarpum Bay, on the island of Eleuthera.  This inspired Vince to seek out and learn how to play multiple instruments and by the time he reached high school, he had already performed in a number of bands.  In 1985, two weeks after graduation, he landed a job at Compass Point Studios as an assistant engineer.  Two years later he was given an opportunity to engineer his first album (Womack and Womack - Conscience) which sold world-wide and achieved double platinum status.  The studio promoted him to Chief Engineer after this major accomplishment.  This was the beginning of a very successful career, followed by many other gold, platinum and multi-platinum awards.

In 1992, Vince has the distinct pleasure of working with Julio Iglesias.  This six-month project made him focus on his true desire, having his own record label. Two years later, he moved to New York City to pursue his dream.

Vince quickly found himself employed at the famed Sony Music Studios.  Soon after an opportunity arose for Vince to become chief engineer of the Johnson Recording Studios (owned by Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown).  In 1999 he was chief engineer in Midtown Manhattan at Planet Sound Studios.

Having made many contacts in the New York Metro Music world, in the year 2002, Vince opened his recording studio, GoldHeart Studios, in Manhattan and launched GoldHeart Enterprises.
